发布时间:2025-07-20
Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, July 16 2025– Premier Li Qiang of the State Council presided over an executive meeting of the State Council on July 16, 2025, which heard a report on the standardization of the competition order in the new energy vehicle industry. The meeting pointed out that we should focus on promoting the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry, and in response to various irrational competition phenomena in this industry field, we should adhere to the combination of distance and comprehensive measures, and effectively regulate the competition order of the new energy vehicle industry. We need to strengthen cost investigation and price monitoring, enhance supervision and inspection of product production consistency, and urge key car companies to fulfill their payment terms commitments. Efforts should be made to improve the long-term mechanism for regulating competition, strengthen industry self-discipline, better leverage the role of standards in leading industrial upgrading, and guide enterprises to enhance competitiveness through technological innovation, quality improvement, and other means.
According to incomplete statistics from this website, 17 major Chinese automakers have successively issued statements in June, committing to a "payment term of no more than 60 days" for their suppliers.
