On June 27, 2025, the Guangdong Electric Power Trading Center released documents such as the "Implementation Rules for Guangdong Virtual Power Plants to Participate in Electric Energy Trading (Trial)" and the "Implementation Rules for Guangdong Virtual Power Plant Operation and Management (Trial)". The starting order for the registration of virtual power plants in Guangdong Province has been launched, marking the official start of commercial operation of virtual power plants in Guangdong Province.

    The specific three files are as follows:

(1) Guidelines and Material Templates for the Registration Process of Virtual Power Plant Operators (Updated on July 16th)

(2) Notice on Issuing the Guangdong Grid Virtual Power Plant Grid Dispatch Service Guidelines

(3) Notice on Issuing Detailed Rules for Guangdong Virtual Power Plants to Participate in the Electricity Market
